Output Explanation
If your request to release railcars was successful, a response page will be displayed that summarizes the request. If you specified on the input page that you would like to receive an e-mail confirmation, it will be e-mailed to you instantaneously.
If your request to release railcars fails for any reason, you will remain on the input page with an error message.

Company releasing the car and the location where the car is being released. |

Track where the car is currently located. |
| Release date/time |
The date and time that the release will be stored. If you selected the next switch date/time, the release will be as of the current date/time. If you selected a future switch date/time, the release date/time will be in the future as well. |
| Switch date/time |
The date and time range when CN plans to pull the railcar from your location. The car must be ready to be pulled by the start of your switching service. |
| Seq |
The sequence of the car on the track at your location. |
| Car |
The initials and numbers of the car that was reported released. |
| Load / Empty |
The load/empty status of the car as it was placed at your location. |
| Lid Number |
If provided on the input page, the gondola lid number is shown. |
| Release Instruction |
The new load/empty status that you specified on the Release Railcars input page. |
| Special Release |
If a Special Release type was selected on the Release Railcars input page, it will be shown here. |
| Defect Detail |
If provided on the input page, details of the railcar's defect are shown. |
