MONTREAL, August 31, 2026 -- The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) has served notice to commence bargaining with CN. The parties expect to hold their first bargaining meeting in the coming weeks.
CN looks forward to meeting with the union and beginning bargaining discussions.
TCRC represents approximately 6,000 conductors, conductor trainees, yard coordinators and locomotive engineers across CN’s network in Canada. The current collective agreement expires on December 31, 2026.
