Memphis Ancillary Lifts

Customers whose containers are grounded at Memphis Gateway Intermodal Terminal, due to a lack of chassis available upon train arrival, are required to fax to CN a document undertaking (PDF) the charges for ancillary lifts. This will help reduce the number of ancillary charges disputed at the Memphis terminal.

• This applies only to private equipment.
• Master undertakings (covering more than a single lift) may also be faxed to this number.
• If no undertaking for the ancillary charges is received, then additional lifts beyond those included in the linehaul rate may be refused by the terminal.
