Reefer Service on CN Generator Sets

• Determine which day(s) of service you would like based on CN's OSM genset service grid. Note that reservations are not required from ports to inland terminals.
• Send an email to CargoCool-Intl@cn.ca with the following information:
  • Genset service schedule (PDF)
  • Quantity and size of containers
  • Booking number
  • Origin terminal
  • Destination (example: Robert's Bank, Cast Terminal, Halterm)
• The Intermodal OSM reservation desk is open from Monday-Friday, between 07:00-18:00 (Eastern time).
• Reservations may be made from the Tuesday the week prior to the train departure date.
• Customers with a reserve allocation must book their reservations NO LATER THAN 12:00 (Eastern time) on the Thursday of the week prior to the reservation day or else the allocation will be released.
• Customers require a reservation and booking number before arriving at the in-gate.
• Customers may in-gate a reefer unit for genset service up to 5 days in advance of the train cutoff. 
• Reservations may be cancelled without penalty up until 08:00 the day prior to the reservation day. Cancellations after this time and no shows will each be subject to a fee as per CN 9100.
