Quebec spring weight restrictions lift for zone 1

The Quebec government will lift Spring Thaw weight restrictions for zone 1 pickups and deliveries effective May 4th 23:59. Any loads destined for zone 1 locations that are remaining in the Montreal terminal at this time as a result of being overweight for thaw restrictions will be booked for the soonest available delivery slot using regular equipment.

Customers shipping to zone 1 locations may resume shipping regular tariff weights effective immediately.

Restrictions remain in effect for pickups and deliveries in zone 2 and zone 3 and the tariff 9100 weights including axle restrictions must continue to be adhered to for these long distance zones.

Please note that customers are encouraged to check the Quebec government website for more information regarding the zone parameters before resuming regular shipping patterns, as it is the responsibility of the shipping party to ensure that they are compliant with all regulations.
