Community Board CN

Community Boards at a Glance

CN created Community Boards to put funding decisions into the hands of local community and business leaders who know their communities best. They keep CN connected to regional issues and ensure CN participates in impactful community partnerships that create tangible benefits and align with local needs.

Great community relations are vital to the running of CN’s transcontinental railroad. That’s why CN strives to be a good neighbour – not only in our commitment to safety and environmental sustainability, but also in making Canada’s communities better and safer places to live, work and play.

As part of CN’s commitment to help build safer, stronger communities, CN has established community boards in key locations across our network, including British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Nova Scotia. Plans are underway to set up additional boards in other parts of Canada and the United States.
