CN reaches tentative labour agreement with Canada-based rail traffic controllers
MONTREAL, March 25, 2010 — CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE:CNI) announced today that it has reached a tentative three-year labour agreement with the union representing approximately 200 rail traffic controllers across Canada.
Details of the agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference/Rail Canada Traffic Controllers (TCRC/RCTC) are being withheld pending ratification by the union membership. The ratification process is expected to take approximately six weeks. If approved by union members, the new TCRC/RCTC agreement would be retroactive to Jan. 1, 2009.
