CN to hold annual meeting of shareholders in Chicago on April 22, 2008

MONTREAL, March 19, 2008 — CN (TSX: CNR)(NYSE: CNI) will hold its 2008 annual meeting of shareholders in Chicago, Ill., on April 22, 2008.

The meeting, at the Peninsula Chicago, Grand Ballroom, 4th Floor, 108 East Superior Street, will start at 10 a.m. Central Time. CN will provide an audio webcast of the proceedings via the Investors section of its website.

The Chicago region is important to CN, as it is the major railway centre in North America and the world's third largest intermodal hub after Hong Kong and Singapore.
