CN becomes a corporate partner for Terrace 2010 BC Winter Games
Terrace, B.C., May 19, 2009 — CN announced today that it will be a Corporate Partner of the Terrace 2010 BC Winter Games. In addition, as part of the sponsorship, CN is a patron Corporate Partner of the Key Volunteer Rally, an event to celebrate the exceptional commitment of the volunteers who are already planning to make the Games a success.
Richard Miller, CN's general manager, Mountain Region, who is based in Prince George, said: “There is a strong link between sports, safety and healthy living, and a strong community spirit. That is why we are proud to support the 2010 BC Winter Games. Terrace and the province will benefit from an event that brings together passionate, focused young athletes.”

The 2010 BC Winter Games are scheduled to take place from March 4 – 7, 2010 in Terrace, showcasing over 1,900 participants from around the province in 16 events. The BC Winter Games are held every two years in communities throughout British Columbia and build community pride through celebrating sport and culture and by promoting active, healthy living.
CN employs almost 500 people in Northern British Columbia and nearly 2,100 in British Columbia.
Through the CN Stronger Communities Fund, the company supports health and safety programs for young people, transportation education, the CN Railroaders in the Community employee volunteer grant program, and United Way.
