CN to report and review third-quarter 2005 financial results on Oct. 18

MONTREAL, Oct. 17, 2005 — CN will issue its third-quarter 2005 financial and operating results at 1 p.m. Eastern time (ET) tomorrow, Oct. 18, 2005. CN's senior officers will review the results and the company's outlook tomorrow afternoon in a conference call/webcast starting at 2 p.m. ET.

Hunter Harrison, president and chief executive officer of CN, will lead the session.
