CN's signals and communications union in Canada signs tentative agreement adding fifth year to current labour contract
MONTREAL, July 15, 2005 — CN announced today that the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) has signed a tentative agreement to extend its existing four-year labour contract with the company to five years.
The IBEW represents 644 union members who maintain and repair CN's signals and communications system across Canada. Details of the one-year contract extension to Dec. 31, 2008, are being withheld pending ratification.
