May 8, 2009 - As previously communicated in Customs Bulletin 30 – March 2009, under the amended Lacey Act, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services (APHIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires that importers for shipments to the U.S. submit a declaration for certain plants and plant products, as well as items that contain or are manufactured from plant products.  Read the Bulletin.
