Highlights:
- For the second year in a row, CN was selected on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index: North America, which includes an assessment of the Company's governance processes.
- In 2010, CN was again named one of Canada's 50 Best Corporate Citizens by Corporate Knights, a watchdog group that focuses on responsible business practices. Ranked companies on Canada's Best 50 Corporate Citizens list share a positive economic impact, a supportive workplace and ethical business practices; integrity in the market place; environmental sustainability and strong community involvement.
- CN ranked 8th place in Canada in The Globe and Mail's annual report on corporate governance titled, Board Games 2009. The report assesses Canadian companies for best practices including board independence, compensation practices, shareholder right issues, and disclosure.
- CN again obtained the Best Corporate Governance Award from the IR Magazine, 2010.
