Meet Little Obie, a scale model of a CN locomotive, complete with a flatcar and caboose.
Little Obie is a crucial part of our Community Response efforts by helping educate kids about the dangers of playing near the railroad tracks without intimidating them.
The success of this program is due to the CN employees who keep a busy schedule with Little Obie, conducting educational programs at schools, parades, county fairs and other community events in CN communities in Canada and the U.S.
Little Obie is the brainchild of former employee Paul Rose designed and built in CN's Memphis, Tennessee facility.
