Providing a strong link between IT and the business is the mission of IT's Business Solution team. Working with customers across the business, this small, but mighty team helps ensure that IT activities are aligned with strategic business objectives and lead to higher levels of value.
We call it ‘pre and post sales.' As the first point of contact between IT and the business, these customer specific teams focus on transitioning good ideas to innovative solutions. A big part of their work is to oversee business opportunities from the idea stage, to submission for funding. The team also helps clients prepare business strategies, optimize processes.
At the other end of the IT lifecycle, the team gets involved in delivery by overseeing the people side of projects to ensure business results are achieved quickly with minimal impact. As well, they work side-by-side with the business as field agents and brokers for IT products and services.
Organizational Structure
Within the Business Solutions team are IT's Business Relationship Services (BRM), Business Transformation Services (BTS), Regional Services, Change Management, and Financial Reporting.
